Imagine..
A Young lady, preparing for what was yet to be the most important union of her life.
Her mind set on her beloved to be.
But having her destinty changed in an instant when an angel appears, announcing that in her purity she would experience pregnacy, and her offspring, God as man, the incarnate diety, would rule over a kingdom everlasting.
And still, knowing that her life would take on unconventional direction, become an irregular situation, she bowed down in complete submission and accepted fearlessly.

Imagine…
A young man, promised a bride but finding out she was with child, conceived by the spirit of the Most High.
Yet, not letting his limited understanding, culture or pride guide his decisions
He chose not to dismiss a nocturnal revelation but instead believed his Godly inspiration.
Despite the initial fear and confusion, his decision was one of submission, as he welcomed his beloved as his wife.

Imagine…
The Two…
An expecting couple traveling through the country in obedience to a decree and as a desire to make known their soon to be union, where they would be a household, together as three.
Looking for a place to ease the mother’s pain, but finding no space wherever they came.
Instead, it was a humble stable, where they brought forth our wonderful savior, God with us, wrapped in cloth, placed in a manger .

Imagine…
On a silent night, common shepherd watching their flock, carrying out a mundane routine they had skillfully mastered. When like a flash of lightning, an angel, in all God’s glory appeared, bringing with him heavenly hosts worshipping the most revered.
They too believed the birth of the Messiah, full of joy went seeking the sign; the manger where the baby lay.

Imagine…
Wise men, Magi…Einsteins of their time!
Traveling from country to country, border to border, following a star brighter than all the other.
Bearing treasures of gold, frankincense and myrrh
All to present as an offering to an infant that the heavens had declared king!

Imagine…
The majestic babe would grow to be without sin, pure, the perfect lamb
He would give His life that we may approach the throne of grace, the presence of God, seeing His face.
A place where we would fully be known
In a state where we would be fully loved
Unconditionally,
Dwelling in His peace, hope and joy eternally.

Now I know what you may be thinking…
‘IMPOSSIBLE!” That incredible story is just a figment of my imagination
But I assure you this is not a tale!
All is written in this book of liberation
Let me go further
I’m living it, an unfinished product of this unmerited salvation
And daily he gives me
Peace that surpasses all understanding
Hope that lifts me up when all circumstances have got me stumbling
Love that my heart is way too small to contain
Joy that goes beyond all human form of comprehension
This child we speak of, preach of, sing of, He is my everlasting justification

The good news, this too can be yours
All you have to do is ask.
Jesus is calling!
Will you answer?
The once a helpless babe, but now our glorious saviour
He is knocking at your door
What are you waiting for?

Now Imagine…
A life of no shame…
No fear…
No guilt…
And no blame…
Where only these remain: faith, hope and the greatest of them; Love.
