It’s often overlooked what a difference in proximity does to the perception of size

From..a..Distance,

Things appear small, insignificant, little, almost non-existent

Whether it’s a small dot or a 1 inch pole we see,

These images are never truly representative of what is.

Friends, let’s talk about..

Distance

How many things we analyze and conclude about from a distance

How many people we categorize and estrange, judging from a distance

And worse, our minute understanding of God, a result of standing at a distance

We see the dot, the line, the shrunk image of an acclaimed Almighty

‘He’s not there, He doesn’t exist’ we say

..Yet, closer closer He calls

“Are my arms too short that I cannot reach out and save you?

But your way of life has separated us”

Come closer, and you will see me

Your strong will is pushing Me, your Sustainer, further away

Your quest for money, love, and things, forces me out, into the shadows of your vision

Yet I do not judge but I plead.. yet again

Come closer cloSER CLOSER

Don’t just follow what everyone says

Look upon wrong with disdain

Yield to my voice in your conscience friends

Come let’s dwell together in the holy of holies, yes!

An indicator of the status of your heart
