Simply known as Eléna, this spoken word artist and singer has the ability to open your eyes to YOU, painting a visual of real issues and giving expression to your heart’s thoughts. She’s known for challenging the status quo, perhaps too often. Well, we love that 🙂 Excited to have you on the team Elena!

Imagine being the first born son of a Nigerian immigrant family. The son whom God has blessed with many talents. The talent to move crowds and individuals with just the spoken word. Talent to move crowds and individuals with truth-induced videography. Most of all the talent to move souls with poetry. Now imagine being a student in one of the top universities in Canada and being connected to most resources available to a typical student. Wouldn’t you make the most of the opportunities thrown your way? And if you do, what would you use them for? Would you uplift or defeat? My name is Tobi Ogude and I want you to HaveOgude.

My name is Martine and writing is my therapy. I write when I’m happy, when I’m sad, when I’m strong and when I’m weak. I write because it’s a part of me; a part that I’m learning to fully embrace. It used to be my kryptonite as I was scared to reveal what I thought was the weaker side of me, but now, it’s my spinach (if you grew up watching Popeye the sailor of men, you’ll understand). Expressing my joy, my pain, my fear and everything else makes me stronger and it keeps me growing. It’s only recently that I’ve understood that God did not give me this gift to keep to myself. He blessed me with it so He could strengthen others through me, so He could speak to our hearts and touch our souls; so He could reveal His love and His constant pursuit of us.
That’s why I write.

Olufikayo’ known as Fikayo expresses deep thoughts, profound moments and conversations with her creator through her spoken word. Her poetry expresses her desire to see others walk in close relationship with God or perhaps awaken curiosity to faith. She loves to travel, cook, sing and encourage others.
