His job is tasking
His reward is with him
Mutual support is their guiding principle –
“Babe look, I’ll support you to become the best of you even if it costs me all of me”
And her heart mirrors his
They are mutually empowered
Ignited by each other

Loved

She is his church
He loves her as Christ loved the church and died for it
Daily he dies to himself
To his pride and ego
To his selfish ambition and thoughtless indifference
He is consistent
Through her ups and downs he remains rooted in love
Even when his anger is aroused, His overflowing love comes and quenches its fire
Because she is him – His own body
No one ever hates his own body, but tenderly and lovingly cares for it
So there’s no competition – he is content with letting her shine

Sealed

He is her husband
Yes indeed! For many have masters but hers is a husband
Her godly spouse
Her best friend for life
They can’t be found apart
Like peas in a pod
They walk in tandem – Inseparable
And Christ is their seal

So ladies, don’t be in a rush
Wait for your Ephesians 5 man
Exceedingly above your imagination, he is a gift that is not just good but perfect for you

Wait for this love like the five wise virgins waited for the bridegroom
Wait, so when he finds you, you will be emotionally available and spiritually discerning
With your heart postured towards Christ and none other
Don’t rush, no, don’t do it
Deny yourself the non-committal eye candies and attention-giving bad-boy candies
Once, twice, three times and yet again
Until you find the right kind of love

For Pursued, Refined, Empowered, Loved and Sealed you will be if you wait…
